Coyle happy with turnaround
18 Apr 2010 - 10:39:20
Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has admitted he was pleased with his side's 2-1 victory at Stoke City on Saturday, despite a shocking performance in the first half.
Two efforts from Matt Taylor turned the tables after Stoke had led thanks to Dave Kitson's strike and the response after the interval was pleasing for Coyle.
Speaking to reporters after the game, he said: "I have to say first half I was disappointed, we looked as if we never turned up.
"I thought it was such a poor 45 minutes and obviously I had to have one or two things to say at half-time.
"But certainly the response in the second half was nothing short of magnificent.
"We tried to create all afternoon the second half and I felt it was a just three points in the end."
