Bolton Wanderers' veteran Spanish midfielder Ivan Campo is waiting to see whether he will be offered a new contract to extend his stay at the Reebok Stadium.
The 33-year-old former Mallorca and Real Madrid ace has been with the Trotters since the summer of 2002 and has scored 14 goals in 175 appearances for the club in all competitions.
"I have had a meeting and I am waiting for a second," Campo told the Manchester Evening News.
"I am going to listen to Bolton in respect for everything they've given me. If I like the project and the trainer, I will stay.
"I want to continue playing for two or three years more at the top level, but we will see where.
"I came to England six years ago and it's English football that excites me, not Spanish."
