Braaten set to leave Bolton

Forgotten striker Daniel Braaten is set to quit Bolton Wanderers and join French side Toulouse.

Braaten joined the Trotters last summer from Rosenborg when former manager Sammy Lee was in charge at the Reebok Stadium.

But after featuring in just one Premier League game following the arrival of current boss Gary Megson last October, the 26-year-old Norway international is keen to end his unhappy spell in England.

Braaten made 14 appearances and scored one goal during a frustrating 2007/08 campaign.

"I can only divulge that I am in Toulouse. Besides that, I have no comments," revealed agent Stig Lillejord.

"The situation for Daniel has been far from perfect since the managerial change.

"We are now considering alternatives. He should join a competitive league and a club where he can strengthen the starting eleven."
