Bolton Wanderers v Wolverhampton Wanderers Live

Owen Coyle and Mick McCarthy lock horns at the Reebok Stadium with three points a must for both their teams as they attempt to pull clear of the relegation zone.Only one point separates the two sides going into this weekend's fixtures but it is Bolton that are currently in the bottom three after failing to score in any of their last five league matches from which only two points have been accrued.Coyle's arrival at the Reebok Stadium following his acrimonious departure from Burnley has not the desired effect as yet.Since replacing Gary Megson, the Scot has guided the Trotters to only one victory, ironically against the Clarets, in eight league matches, and they have scored only three times in the process.Coyle also has a lengthy injury list to contend with as Gavin McCann (ankle), former Wolves star Mark Davies, Chris Basham, Joey O'Brien (all knee) and Gary Cahill (arm) are all currently sidelined.Wolves pushed Chelsea all the way last weekend at Molineux before eventually slumping to a 2-0 defeat against the league leaders but in the final analysis the double they secured against fourth-placed Spurs could prove to be crucial.Aside from those two victories, McCarthy's team have only managed to beat Burnley, Bolton, Fulham and Wigan Athletic and goals have been a real problem all term. They have managed only 21 in 26 league games to date with veteran central defender Jody Craddock still the club's second top-scorer with four goals.Kevin Doyle (six) and Nenad Milijas (two) are the only other players to have found the net more than once this season which must be a cause for concern for McCarthy as the campaign reaches its final stages. He will once again be without long-term injury victims Andy Keogh (ankle) and Matt Murray (knee) but Michael Mancienne is available again after missing the Chelsea defeat due to the terms of his loan agreement.
