Bolton Wanderers midfielder Mark Davies faces several weeks on the sidelines after injuring his knee during Saturday's game against Fulham. Manager Gary Megson hopes the former Wolves star should return to action before the end of the season to help the Trotters in their bid to avoid the drop. Megson said: "Mark's struggling. We don't know exactly how long it will be for but we'd consider it long term. "We hope he'll be back before the end of the season. This kind of thing happens, but he'll get over it because he's a young lad." The 21-year-old has made seven appearances for Megson's side since arriving at the Reebok Stadium from Wolves in January.
