Bolton Wanderers have allowed Blerim Dzemaili to leave the Reebok Stadium and rejoin Torino.
The Switzerland international midfielder spent last season on loan at the Italian club and the agreement has now been made into a permanent transfer.
Dzemaili did not make a single Premier League appearance for the Trotters after arriving in the summer of 2007 from FC Zurich.
The 23-year-old was struck down with a serious knee injury shortly after his arrival in England and his only first-team run out came during and FA Cup third-round tie against Sheffield United in January 2008.
Meanwhile, Wanderers have also released youngsters Rob Sissons, Nathan Woolfe and James Sinclair.
