Bolton boss Megson set to raid former club with 500k swoop for West Brom's Robinson

Bolton have lodged a £500,000 bid with West Bromwich Albion for Paul Robinson. Trotters boss Gary Megson is keen to sign Robinson from his former club who rate their left-back in the £3m bracket. However, a succession of problems have seen moves by Sunderland, Wigan and Celtic collapse at the last minute.
