Berg ponders England future

Sweden Under-21s star Marcus Berg has admitted that he would be interested in a move to England in the near future.

The 22-year-old striker scored seven goals in five games on home soil at the European Under-21 Championships, before the hosts lost out in a semi-final penalty shootout to England.

Berg currently plays his football in the Netherlands with Groningen, but would relish the chance to impress on a bigger stage.

He told Expressen: "I like the Spanish league, it's fantastic. The English league is also good.

"You don't know when it will happen, but that is what you are dreaming about."
