Anelka earns Sam praise

Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce is delighted to see big-money summer signing Nicolas Anelka finding top form after a slow start to life back in the Premiership.
Anelka scored the winner in the 2-1 victory over Newcastle United to take his tally to six in his last seven games, having previously found the net just once in 11 outings after his £8million arrival from Fenerbahce.
Allardyce said: "I always notice a difference when a goalscorer begins to score regularly.
"In the early part of the season when it was not quite coming off for him it did not matter at that point, because everybody else was scoring and we were winning week in, week out.
"There was a little bit more pressure on us all when we had the phase where we were creating chances and he was not scoring.
"All of a sudden he has turned that around.
"He has got the seven now. If he can at least double that figure, that is going to give us a great chance."
