Al-Habsi seeks loan move

Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi is already looking to leave the club only nine months after moving to the Reebok Stadium from Lyn Oslo.

The 24-year-old Oman international has failed to make any appearances for Sam Allardyce's side since his transfer and is keen to seal a loan switch in search of regular first-team football.

Al-Habsi is currently training with the rest of the Oman squad in readiness for the Asian Cup qualifier against the United Arab Emirates later this month.

He was reported on the Asian Football Confederation website as saying Bolton were putting him on the loan list and he would know where he was heading in January when the transfer window opens.

He added: "I would like to play for one of the first division clubs in England as first-choice goalkeeper instead of staying on the bench at Bolton."
