It was revealed earlier this week that new Trotters boss Owen Coyle was leading the chase for Weiss, and City counterpart Roberto Mancini later confirmed the news.[LNB]Weiss has now announced he has put pen-to-paper with Bolton after snubbing interest from Wigan manager Roberto Martinez, who is on the verge of signing Villarreal striker Marco Ruben.[LNB]"Still on Thursday it looked in the balance, either Bolton or Wigan," the Slovakian told Dennik Sport. [LNB]"I personally spoke with both managers, Mr Coyle and Mr Martinez. They are both very sympathetic, so in this aspect it was all-square in my decision-making. [LNB]"I would say that the decisive thing is that Bolton were more persistent. When I was going through the club, I thought, 'okay, this is the right club'."[LNB]It was rumoured earlier in the week that Weiss had turned down an offer from Bolton but the 20-year-old insists that was not the case, adding: "I don't know where this piece of information came from.[LNB]"I have never said anything like that. I can't explain that, but now you see there is no sense in it as I have denied that by signing the contract."[LNB][LNB]
