Trotters target Duff - Report

21 July 2009 16:25
Duff could move for a knock-down fee according to the Daily Mail as Newcastle look to cut their wage bill after the club's relegation from the Premier League last season. Bolton would offer Duff a return to the Premier League with the former Chelsea and Blackburn Rovers winger apparently disillusioned with life at St James' Park as the club stalls on naming a new manager with less than three weeks to the new campaign. Duff's wage demands could be a stumbling block but may not be an issue if the midfielder is available for a lower transfer fee.
