Trotters prepare £2m bid for Boaz

olton have pinpointed Boaz Myhill as the long-term successor to Jussi Jaaskelainen and are reportedly planning a £2million bid for him.[LNB] Trotters boss Owen Coyle wants tougher competition between the sticks for 35-year-old Jaaskelainen, and is hoping to exploit the Tigers' financial problems by securing a bargain deal for Myhill.[LNB]The Wales international, 28, is likely to be one of several star names leaving the KC Stadium this summer following Hull's relegation to the Championship.[LNB]The Daily Star Sunday reports that Coyle will put an opening offer of £2million on the table for shot-stopper Myhill, who is likely to jump at the chance of staying in the Premier League.
