Trotters close in on triple signing

South Korean starlet Lee Chung-yong, Aston Villa's Knight and Swansea midfielder Bodde are reportedly set to sign deals in the coming days. "We are really close to getting three transfers sorted, and we need them, because this squad is nowhere near strong enough," Megson told the Bolton News. "(Club chairman) Phil Gartside has got a list of players who I feel would strengthen us, and there are also the names of players who we would allow to leave the club, but we have got to get a lot busier if that is to happen. "This is going to be a vitally important transfer window for us if we intend to move forward, and ideally I'd like to be a bit further down the road than we are right now." FC Seoul winger Lee, 21, is reportedly discussing personal terms with Bolton and he is not expected to have issues obtaining a UK work permit should he agree to a switch. Megson has already completed deals for Sean Davis and Paul Robinson this month.
