The Sunderland boss, who was this week linked with a loan move for the centre-back, said: 'He's not one that we've looked at, no, not at all.' Sbragia has revealed he is chasing five signings as he looks to bolster his relegation-threatened side. With defenders Danny Collins and Nyron Nosworthy nursing injuries picked up in last week's defeat to Aston Villa, Sbragia needs more bodies before the transfer window closes. He said: 'We are checking on a number of players. We have made enquiries about five and we're just waiting to see where we stand. 'There's one we've got our eye on and if we bring him in, then he should be starting in Tuesday's game against Fulham. 'Of the five players we've got under consideration, four are defenders and one is a midfielder but we're not expecting to get all five.'
