Southampton sign Jaidi as Barnsley look to appoint Robins as new boss

League One outfit Southampton have signed Tunisia centre half Radhi Jaidi. The former Bolton and Birmingham defender will complete his move to St Mary's, subject to a work permit. Elsewhere in the Championship, Mark Robins was heading for talks with Barnsley over succeeding Simon Davey as manager on Wednesday night. League Two Rotherham have given their 39-year-old manager permission to begin discussions.
