Shittu makes Wanderers departure
Powerful defender Danny Shittu has left Bolton with immediate effect after failing to make an impact during his stay at the Reebok Stadium.[LNB] The Nigerian international joined the Trotters from Watford in August 2008 and made 12 appearances during his stay at the Reebok.[LNB]The club have now reached an agreement with Shittu to release him from his current contract.[LNB]The defender is now available on a free transfer and will hope to get hooked up with a new club as soon as possible.
