Torrid time: Sean Davis has more injury problems[LNB]Bolton midfielder Sean Davis is expected to miss the rest of the season after a second knee operation.[LNB]Davis missed virtually the whole of the last campaign following surgery to repair an articular cartilage injury. The 31-year-old had looked close to making a comeback after a successful pre-season.[LNB]But he was forced to undergo the knife again after injuring his knee in a reserve team game against Manchester City in August.[LNB]'He's had a torrid time and everybody is feeling for him,' said his manager Owen Coyle.'We hope this time he can get himself to the level he was at in the summer and he can really come back with an impact.'It's going to be slow progress but the important thing for Sean is that it's the right progress and rehab, and he feels physically and mentally right. We certainly won't rush him with everything he's been through.'Sean Davis is a top player and always has been. It's his career and he wants to play football.'The length of time he's been out hasn't been easy for him but he's a strong character with a great sense of humour, and that's helped him and will see him through.'[LNB] Bolton set their sights on Carlos Vela but Gary Cahill's no nearer leaving the Reebok Stadium Bolton set to raid Arsenal for highly-rated Mexico forward Carlos Vela BOLTON FC
