olton Wanderers defender Paul Robinson admits he has to rein in winger Martin Petrov.[LNB] The Bulgaria international, who joined the Trotters on a free transfer from Manchester City this summer, is not renowned for his defensive qualities.[LNB]Robinson acknowledges there are few wide-men in the Premier League with the pace and trickery of his 31-year-old team-mate.[LNB]But the Wanderers' left-back has to ensure Petrov does not leave him too exposed.[LNB]"Martin's an out-and-out attacking player and you've got to appreciate what he does and what he did at Manchester City," said Robinson in the Sun.[LNB]"He is the player that he is and you've got to let him be free and go and attack teams.[LNB]"Sometimes it can be hard because you've got to put reins on him to save his energy."[LNB]Petrov was Bolton's biggest summer signing and his arrival has pushed Matty Taylor to the bench.[LNB]Robbie Blake also joined from Burnley while Ivan Klasnic made a permanent move from Nantes having been on loan last season.[LNB]Former Portsmouth midfielder Sean Davis has boosted manager Owen Coyle's options by making a long-awaited return from a knee injury and Robinson feels the Bolton squad is in better shape than it has been in for years.[LNB]"Now we've got quality players that can come on and change games for us," he added.
