Bolton manager Owen Coyle has told Martin Petrov to remain patient ahead of the Barclays Premier League match against the winger's former club Manchester City on Saturday. Petrov, 31, is looking to return to the team after stepping off the bench and scoring a superb goal in the thrilling draw with Blackpool at the weekend. It was the Bulgarian's third in nine starts following his move from City in the summer. Coyle said: "Martin was in the team and doing very well. Then he got injured and Matt Taylor came in. He just has to be patient. "Now he is going back to his former club, a club I thought he was outstanding for. "Martin is the same as everyone else in the squad. There are a number in contention to start the game. We will look at it, give balance to it and pick the best available team."
