Martin Petrov has promised Bolton Wanderers fans that there is more to come from him after making his debut for the club.[LNB] The Bulgarian winger was signed on a free transfer this summer from Manchester City and made his bow in the 0-0 draw with Fulham on Saturday.[LNB]Petrov is hungry for regular first-team football having been frozen out at Eastlands and is eager to demonstrate his quality to the Reebok Stadium faithful.[LNB]"It's the first time I have played, so like everyone on the pitch I'm a little bit tired," he said in the Bolton News. "But that's OK - everyone wants to show to the fans they want to play. I know I can do more for the team, do better, but I think we have started the season well.[LNB]"I thank the fans very much. I think I could have done better in a few situations in the first half but, hopefully, next time, I'll score here."[LNB]The 31-year-old continued: "It's now very important that I play regularly.[LNB]"But if I play I must prove why. We have some very good players on the bench, so if I do not play well in some games, then there are people who can come in and take my place.[LNB]"I must show everything to the gaffer that I am ready and that I can play better and better in every game."
