Owen Coyle in talks over Bolton manager job, Burnley confirm

Following the departure of Gary Megson last week, former Bolton player Coyle was favourite to take over at the Reebok Stadium. [LNB]For the first time today Burnley officially confirmed that Coyle has held discussions with Bolton.[LNB]Burnley 1 Manchester United 0: match reportCoyle had been on a family break in Scotland and was to return to Turf Moor on Tuesday but the manager told his players after the 2-1 FA Cup win at MK Dons that he is expecting an approach from Bolton and would like to speak to them.
