The forward, 19, is nearing the end of his month-long spell from Bolton but would love to remain at the County Ground having played six games for the Robins, during which time he has scored once and failed to end up on the losing side in league competition. His deal is due to expire after Saturday's home clash against Colchester, but he told skysports.com: "I would be more than happy to extend my time here because we are doing well and are currently in the top half of the table. "Why leave? I doubt that I would get into the team at Bolton if I was to return after Saturday's game, so I would definitely prefer to stay here. "The main thing really was to get some games under my belt and to get some experience at the same time, so it has been good to do that so far and hopefully that will continue." Meanwhile, Swindon have handed a week-long trial to 20-year-old Poole Town hot-shot Charlie Austin, who had looked set for a move to Bournemouth but for the club's ongoing transfer embargo.
