Newcastle have signalled their intention to hang on to midfielder Kevin Nolan with former club Bolton on his trail.[LNB]Wanderers boss Gary Megson has confirmed his interest in the 27-year-old, who left the Reebok Stadium for Tyneside in a £4million move just eight months ago, amid reports he could return on loan.[LNB]However, caretaker manager Chris Hughton, who has repeatedly voiced his hope no more of his players will be sold after 10 departures to date this summer, is not expecting Nolan to leave and indeed is hoping to be able to add to his squad.[LNB]He said: "I would be very, very hopeful of that. Come Tuesday at 5pm, we are looking to have a squad that is able to compete."[LNB]Nolan's agent, Mark Curtis, added: "Kevin's happy at Newcastle and wants to help them get back into the Premier League."
