Megson wants striker

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Bolton boss Gary Megson remains hopeful of adding a striker to his list of summer recruits before the close of the transfer window.[LNB] Megson has enjoyed a successful foray into the transfer market with Zat Knight, Sam Ricketts, Sean Davis and Paul Robinson having arrived at the Reebok Stadium during the close-season.[LNB]South Korea international midfielder Lee Chung-Yong, 21, will arrive on Friday after completing a £2.2million move from FC Seoul but the Trotters' lack of firepower remains a serious concern.[LNB]Last season skipper Kevin Davies netted 11 times but club-record signing Johan Elmander managed only five in the whole campaign and none at all after Christmas.[LNB]Megson admits he has indentified his striking target and is hoping the club can agree a deal for the mystery forward.[LNB]"It's quite well-documented now that we are looking for a new striker," noted Megson.[LNB]Target"We know who we'd like, but whether that is achievable or not is another question.[LNB]"A lot of things will happen between now and the end of August, and we have to be prepared to move quickly to bring somebody in if the opportunity arises.[LNB]"Throughout the summer I've not even been given a budget. I've just put players forward to the owner, Eddie Davies, and the chairman, Phil Gartside, and they've not once knocked me back.[LNB]"But we definitely need another forward as we go into the season with Kevin Davies and Johan Elmander as our only senior strikers."[LNB]
