Megson wants craft, not graft

Gary Megson wants to change the Bolton dynamic and see his team become easier on the eye. He is determined to attract players who can perhaps offer craft rather than graft this summer. While Megson was pleased at the way his side competed last season, he is keen for a new beginning. "We have got to emphasise on the quality of the players that we bring in, " said the Bolton boss. "I would like to change the style that we play as I felt that was one of the reasons the club struggled last season. "We had to take it back a little bit, get the results at times and not play in the way we would have liked. "There were some really good performances, but some really dour, grinding performances where we've got results. But it was all about getting those results. "Hopefully we can use this summer to bring in players who can play a different type of game while still getting the results and maybe more of them."
