After being on the fringes of the England set-up last season, Cahill was rewarded with a full call-up by Capello last week having also been involved in the squad against Kazakhstan in June.[LNB]Now with a friendly against Slovenia on Saturday, ahead of their World Cup qualifier versus Croatia next week, Megson is hoping that his man will get his chance to win a first cap.[LNB]"It's not my business to tell Capello who to pick but I really think the time has come to give Gary a chance for England," said Megson.[LNB]"Capello has seen what Matthew Upson, Joleon Lescott and Phil Jagielka can do. It's surely worth Gary being given the opportunity.[LNB]"And once Gary gets that chance I am 100 per cent certain he won't be coming out of that squad if he plays to the level we at Bolton all know he can."[LNB][LNB] England v Slovenia.
