Megson unhappy with Zat's slow start

The former Aston Villa and Fulham defender inadvertently diverted Michael Owen's wayward header into his own net just five minutes into the Old Trafford contest. Megson is convinced the 29-year-old stopper would not have made the same mistake later on in the game and is baffled as to why he is not focused in games from the off. The Trotters boss is refusing to lambast Knight for the blunder, but wants him to improve his concentration from the start of matches sooner rather than later. "Zat wouldn't have conceded that in the last 10 minutes and it is something he has got to get out of," explained Megson. "He's a good player and he's played well for most of the game but he's got this easy-oasy attitude and one or two others have got it too. "I'm the second half it didn't exist and I'm positive that goal wouldn't have happened after the break. "We just need to mention it. Zat is an intelligent lad, a good lad and he just wants to do well."
