Megson: Players are hot to Trot

Bolton host Manchester City on Saturday looking to end a sequence of five league games without a win.[LNB]Megson's side have accrued just 12 points from their opening 14 league games this season, and last weekend they sunk below Wolves to 19th after going down 2-1 at Molineux.[LNB]With a make or break festive period ahead the pressure is mounting, but Megson insists his players' morale has been unaffected by recent results and will prove a major attribute in turning Bolton's season around.[LNB]"Everything is the same as when we have won games," Megson said.[LNB]"Training has been exactly the same and the atmosphere is terrific - as good as I have ever known at any football club, even given the fact that we are not on a good run at the moment.[LNB]"We'll get out of this, using those attributes that we have got.[LNB]"I've been in football since I was 16 and I've seen the good and the bad. At the moment we are not picking results up, but it is not because there is a bad atmosphere at the ground. Everything is spot on.[LNB]"We are losing games because the bounce of the ball is not going for us, but we need to score more goals - the first goal - and then we will be able to kick on using all the things that are good about this football club."[LNB]Despite the team's poor form, Megson believes his players' commitment has not been in question.[LNB]"I know the team that I pick will never be found wanting for effort, desire, honesty and endeavour," he said.[LNB]"It is whether we can be good enough on the day against a team that has their (Manchester City's) attributes and some of the best players in the world."[LNB][LNB]
