Megson - Lee a great prospect

Bolton manager Gary Megson maintains that Lee Chung-Yong is a bright prospect for the future. The South Korea international has made only three substitute appearances since arriving at the Reebok Stadium for £2.2million from FC Seoul in August. But while Megson admits there is room for improvement in certain areas, the Trotters boss is adamant there are signs of talent. "He has done OK from what we have seen from him so far," Megson told the Bolton News. "Physique-wise, you can see that he isn't strong enough yet and not capable of going through an hour and a half, but all that really does is emphasise the difference between the league here in England and that in South Korea. "He has got to be given time, and not just a matter of weeks. It is impossible to judge on what we have seen so far because he has only been here for such a short space of time. Making that kind of move must be difficult for anyone. "He has done okay so far. He has gone on a couple of times as a substitute and you can see right away that defensively he's nowhere near at the moment. "But when he has got the ball at his feet, he has got that ability to go past people. He has a tremendous awareness about him, which will bode really well in the future."
