Gary Megson has urged his Bolton players to respond in the right manner to the defeat at Stoke.[LNB] Bolton turned in a poor performance at the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday as they lost 2-0, with James Beattie and Ricardo Fuller finding the target for the Potters.[LNB]Having already been knocked out of the FA Cup, Bolton will not play again until they entertain Fulham in the Premier League next Saturday.[LNB]Megson admits he would rather have a game this weekend but he is confident the Trotters will bounce back with an improved display when their ten-day break comes to an end.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "I think when you've just lost a game and then you've got quite a long break in between then it's difficult because you want to get out there and try and put it right. [LNB]"But I know we'll try and do the right thing in terms of physically and mentally. Hopefully the ten-day break will give us a chance to put this game to bed."[LNB]ImpactBolton are currently 11th in the table with 10 matches remaining but Megson believes there is still everything to play for.[LNB]Just six points separate Bolton from third-bottom Blackburn, while a run of good results could put them in contention for a European spot. [LNB]Megson added: "Like everybody, our current games are going to have a big impact on what happens to us this season. I don't think you could find a team in the Premier League where that is not the case.[LNB]"I know that if we perform as we have done in the last two home games we'll be fine."[LNB]
