Megson in bold bid to bring Nolan back to Bolton from Newcastle on loan
Gary Megson has asked Newcastle United if he can take Kevin Nolan back to the Reebok Stadium on loan.
Bolton's boss sold the midfielder during the January transfer window for £4.5m but is keen to re-sign him if the Tyneside club want to slash their running costs still further.
Nolan, who would be welcomed by Bolton fans, currently earns £45,000-a-week and Newcastle's owners may be keen to off-load to help their cash flow.
Megson is also waiting for a response from Werder Bremen regarding their forward, Hugo Almeida.
