Megson confirms Meriem trial

[LNB]"We're not saying we're going to do anything, but he'll come over, all being well, and spend a few days training with us." [LNB]The Trotters have also been linked with a move for Newcastle midfielder Smith, but while being a fan of the player, Megson is not planning an approach.[LNB]He added: "I'm an admirer of Alan Smith, he's a terrific player, but there's been nothing because the transfer window is closed. [LNB]"I don't know where all these things come from, but it's not here." [LNB]
