We needed to make it about tempo and strength and we made it about passing and technique."[LNB]No positivesMegson was happy with one or two individual display but refused to take any positives from the match following their cup exit.[LNB]"There were one or two that did okay, but nowhere near as well as they can do," he continued.[LNB]"When you're in a cup tie it's purely, simply about getting through to the next round so therefore you can't really say there were positives."[LNB]Megson did reserve praise for Bolton's vocal travelling support and hopes the fans are again behind the team for the visit of Chelsea this weekend.[LNB]"Our support was fantastic. 2,000 people have come down on a Wednesday night and they've out-sang the home crowd.[LNB]"We need that at our place, but we also need to put on a performance that gives us an opportunity to win."[LNB]
