Torres, who has played just 16 times for the league leaders this season due to three separate hamstring injuries, has undergone a period of intensive rehabilitation at the club's Melwood training ground.[LNB]Liverpool's medical staff have tried to analyse every aspect of Torres' hamstring and the frailties that have contributed to his problems.[LNB]Within his rehabilitation plan, the 24-year-old has also been subjected to a strengthening programme and assistant manager Sammy Lee has admitted that Torres is now back in training.[LNB]Lee said: "Fernando is improving. He has worked very hard with his rehab. I don't want to give any clues away, but I will say that he is training with the lads.[LNB]"There was no way that he could have been ready for Arsenal, but in terms of the Christmas period, then I will just say that his rehab is coming on well.[LNB]"Such is his quality and class, when he is not there, he is clearly going to be missed. So when he is back, ready and available for us again, he will be a great addition to the squad. You have to take the positives out of every negative and, having played throughout last summer with Spain, maybe he has benefited from his enforced absence."[LNB]Rafael Benitez continues to be absent after his operation to remove kidney stones, but should return to face Bolton.
