Laws calls for controlled aggression
More than 5,000 Burnley fans are expected to make the short trip to Bolton and are sure to leave Coyle in no doubt that they feel betrayed by his defection to their Lancashire rivals.[LNB]Laws, whose side have not won away all season, is looking for his first positive result after defeats in both of his first two games in charge.[LNB]Laws said: "We have to be very focused and channel the aggression, the upset and the turmoil in the right way and play our football in the right way.[LNB]"The last thing we want to do is channel it in the wrong way and for all hell to break loose."[LNB]Laws believes the players will not be distracted by the fact they are taking on Coyle's team - but admits it adds some extra spice to the occasion.[LNB]"Footballers are footballers - they may be upset for 48 hours but they move on quickly and this is an opportunity to show everyone they are good enough to play in the Premier League," said Laws.[LNB]"As for me, I was always going to come up against him at some time so I might as well get it over with.[LNB]"It does adds spice to the game - and this is the kind of spice I was dreaming of experiencing as a Premier League manager. This is the place to be."[LNB]Clarke Carlisle, the 30-year-old defender, may return in central defence after injury and he admits the fans may have a different opinion to the players.[LNB]Carlisle said: "The Burnley fans feel a bit bitter about the way the gaffer left and the atmosphere may be a bit acrimonious, so it should be a lively one![LNB]"It will be full-blooded and the lads will be fighting tooth and nail to get the points."[LNB]The defender insists, however, there is no bad feeling towards Coyle from the Burnley players, who will offer a friendly hand shake to their old manager.[LNB]"You find in football you generally cross paths with people at some point in the future so you make sure you are professional and courteous, and all smiles," added Carlisle.[LNB]"Football is like Hollywood - never stand on anyone on the way up because you're going to have to wave at them on the way back down."[LNB]The miserable away record has become something of a curse for Burnley's players, who desperately need to end that run.[LNB]Carlisle added: "It would be ironic if that away win was to come against the former manager, but the most important thing for the players is to break this duck as soon as possible.[LNB]"We have to get this monkey off our back - it's grown from a chimp, to an orangutan to a mountain gorilla - but we must make sure it does not make us play with fear."[LNB][LNB] Bolton 4/5, Draw 5/2, Burnley 7/2
