olton captain Kevin Davies would like to see fellow striker Ivan Klasnic return to the club on a permanent basis next season.[LNB] The Croatian's loan from Nantes has now ended, although manager Owen Coyle would like to bring the player back if he can come to an agreement over the French club's £2million asking price.[LNB]Davies believes the 30-year-old has done enough to warrant a contract, having tried hard to impress Coyle who initially criticised his work-rate.[LNB]"He's taken the manager's information on board and is working harder, and his stats will back that up," said Davies.[LNB]"It's something he realises he has to add to his game if he wants to stay and he has done."[LNB]Klasnic's best work has been saved for inside the penalty area, scoring eight times in 12 Premier League starts, and Davies acknowledged his talent by adding: "Ivan's dangerous inside the box and always looks to turn and get a shot off. He's one of the best I've ever worked with at that. He's a goalscorer and a good lad to have in the changing room."
