Honest Carragher admits to Reds fortune

Jamie Carragher felt Liverpool were fortunate to edge a 1-0 win over Bolton in an evenly-contested Premier League clash at the Reebok Stadium.[LNB] Maxi Rodriguez struck a late winner to help the Reds climb out of the relegation zone, the Argentinian latching onto Fernando Torres' backheel to settle a competitive encounter.[LNB]Both sides created numerous chances and Carragher felt neither deserved to leave with all three points.[LNB]"I don't think anyone deserved to win to be honest," Carragher told Sky Sports 1. "I don't think there was too many chances. It's always a difficult game here at Bolton.[LNB]"Kevin Davies had a header late on, and that could have been it for them, and our chance has gone in.[LNB]"It was a really tight game but that's the Premiership for you."[LNB]Reflecting on what the win has done for his team's league position - they are now up to 12th place - Carragher added: "It's just nice to be out of the bottom three.[LNB]"We've been in there a while so it's been difficult to look at the table. In the weeks to come we have to get further up the table.[LNB]"We know we haven't had a great start, but there's still a long way to go and with the league so tight, with a few wins we can certainly climb to the top half of the table."[LNB]Bolton boss Owen Coyle felt Liverpool's winner four minutes from time was tough on his side.[LNB]"I don't think we deserved to lose the game," he told Sky Sports 1. "Late in the game Liverpool have scored a very good goal from their point of view, but having said that, we've had opportunities before that.[LNB]"I felt the application and the effort of the players was first class. I thought we dominated the game for large periods without having too many clear-cut opportunities."[LNB]Coyle felt his side were unlucky not to be awarded a penalty after Carragher survived an appeal after the faintest of touches with the hand in the first half, and striker Davies went down under a heavy challenge from Sotirios Krygiakos in the second.[LNB]"I thought we had a penalty in the first half with a clear hand ball from Carragher, possibly a penalty in the second half for the push on Kevin Davies," he added.[LNB]"These are the margins in the Barclays Premier League that you have to come out on the right side of, and unfortunately for us it's a cruel ending."
