Holden goes under knife again

olton midfielder Stuart Holden will be out for the next six weeks after being told he needs more surgery on his long-standing knee injury.[LNB] Holden's recent Carling Cup outing at Aston Villa was his first appearance since March, when a tackle from Manchester Untied's Jonny Evans left him with ligament damage.[LNB]And the United States international's comeback has proved short-lived, with doctors opting to carry out a follow-up procedure on the damaged joint.[LNB]Owen Coyle told the Wanderers website: "Our prime concern has always been Stuart's welfare and his long-term health and fitness. [LNB]"It was looking likely that the operation could be scheduled for next summer, but after follow-up consultations with the specialists we have brought the date forward."[LNB]Holden, who arrived from Houston Dynamos in January 2010, was one of Bolton's most consistent performers last season until his injury.
