Burnley survived a scare against local rivals Accrington Stanley in their latest pre-season outing.[LNB] The Clarets fell two goals behind at the Crown Ground before clawing their way back to snatch a 2-2 draw.[LNB]Jason Scotland was among the goals for Wigan as they enjoyed a comfortable success over Preston North End.[LNB]Roberto Martinez's side have struggled to generate victories in their recent fixtures, but emerged from Deepdale with an impressive 4-1 win.[LNB]Debutant Sam Ricketts and Kevin Davies were on target for Bolton as they overcame Dutch outfit Den Bosch 2-1.[LNB]Premier League new boys Wolves endured an evening to forget, though, as they went down to a solitary strike from Jermaine Easter at MK Dons.[LNB]Leigh Bromby continued his fine goal scoring form for Sheffield United as the Blades saw off Lincoln 2-0 at Sincil Bank.[LNB]Sheffield Wednesday were also victorious on Tuesday as they eased to a 2-0 victory at Northampton.[LNB]Robbie Savage helped Derby to edge a five-goal thriller at Notts County, with the Rams eventually claiming a 3-2 win.[LNB]Summer signing Simon Whaley got the only goal of the game for Norwich in their contest with Crystal Palace.[LNB]Leicester were pushed all the way by a plucky Chesterfield side, but Nigel Pearson's men celebrated a narrow 1-0 victory.[LNB]Blackpool enjoyed an easier night at Carlisle as they strolled to a 3-1 success.[LNB]The Seasiders' Championship rivals Doncaster were also among Tuesday's winners as they beat Grimsby 2-0.[LNB]Rowan Vine and Patrick Agyemang got the goals for Queens Park Rangers as they overcame Wycombe 2-1.[LNB]Charlton gave Roy Keane food for thought as Ipswich slipped to a 2-1 defeat at The Valley.[LNB]Peterborough continued their preparations for life in the Championship this season with a 2-0 win at Stevenage.[LNB]West Brom, though, slipped to defeat at Swindon as the Robins prevailed 1-0 at the County Ground.[LNB]Bristol City were involved in an entertaining West Country clash against Yeovil, with the Glovers taking the spoils 3-2.[LNB]Tranmere's game at Morecambe went one better than that at Huish Park, with an end-to-end contest ending 3-3.[LNB]Walsall also conceded three at Mansfield, but could only muster one effort in reply.[LNB]Huddersfield have looked impressive of late and Lee Clark's men secured a 3-0 success at Macclesfield.[LNB]Millwall put on quite a show for their fans at Dartford as they cruised to a 4-1 victory.[LNB]Scunthorpe were held 1-1 at Gainsborough, while Bristol Rovers saw off Hereford 3-1.[LNB]Southend overcame Barnet 1-0, while Torquay enjoyed victory by the same scoreline at home to Brighton.[LNB]Colchester were also 1-0 winners, this time at Histon, and Aldershot slipped to defeat by the odd goal at Woking.[LNB]Bradford edged past Alfreton Town 1-0 as they headed out on the road, while Dundee United claimed a 3-1 win on their travels as they faced Inverness.[LNB]St Mirren were also in action, beating Morton 2-1, and Hamilton secured a morale-boosting 2-1 victory at UC Dublin.[LNB]
