Fiorentina have announced the signing of wing-back Marcos Alonso from Bolton on a three-year deal, the Serie A club announced Friday.
The 22-year-old Spaniard made 26 appearances for Bolton last season, scoring four goals in the Championship, having joined the club from Real Madrid in 2010.
Fiorentina finished fourth when the league ended last week, two points behind AC Milan and the third possible Champions League spot.
Vincenzo Montella's side, praised as one of Serie A's best teams last season, will play in next season's Europa League.
