The Premier League chief executive made his statement on Wednesday night as he defended the price of tickets in the Premier League. FC United have just launched a 'name-your-own-price' season ticket to enable fans to attend matches throughout the current economic crisis. "We found his comments quite amusing," said FC United spokesman Jules Spencer. "Maybe our campaign for fans to name their own season ticket price has struck a nerve. "It costs less than £10 for an adult and child to attend together at FC United. "I don't know a Premier League club where prices come anywhere close. "But it is nice to see we are still on the radar of the powers that be. We must be doing something right." Bolton on Thursday announced they were cutting prices, with adult season tickets for next season starting at £285. Scudamore told BBC Radio 5 Live: "(Bolton) are charging less for adults and children than it is costing to go to FC United in the non-league."
