// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Gary Megson has told goal-shy striker Johan Elmander that he needs to start delivering for Bolton.[LNB] Megson put his faith Elmander last year when he forked out a reported £10 million on the Swedish international, but the 28-year-old marksman failed to match his hefty price-tag, scoring just six times in 34 appearances for the Trotters.[LNB]After a disappointing 2008/2009 season, Megson kept his trust in the former Toulouse forward at the start of the current campaign, but has since brought Ivan Klasnic to the club on loan to add bite to the Bolton attack.[LNB]Elmander finally ended a nine-month goal drought midweek with a goal in the Carling Cup win over West Ham, but that did not warrant a place in the starting XI as he was an unused substitute in the 2-1 win at Birmingham on Saturday.[LNB]And Megson has called for more input from his record signing if he is to reclaim a starting berth for Bolton's next clash at home to free-scoring Tottenham.[LNB]"Johan is part of the squad but he needs to accept like everyone else that he has got to deliver," said the Trotters boss.[LNB]"It doesn't matter to me how much he cost, where he came from, reputation. He has to deliver. He has got to start doing more. He has got a great touch, great awareness but he has got to start doing a lot more for us.[LNB]"We know what we are getting with Kevin Davies. We know his quality in the air, the size, power and pace of him and, most of all, the work-rate that Kevin puts in.[LNB]"It doesn't matter to me whether Johan is an international player from Sweden, or whether they have cost a lot of money, or whether they are young players who have cost nothing."[LNB]
