Elmander sidelined yet again

Bolton striker Johan Elmander faces yet another spell on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury. The 28-year-old Sweden international is out for at least 10 days after suffering the problem in Bolton reserves' 3-0 win over Wigan on Monday. Elmander, who has been plagued by injury problems since his £10million club record move to the Trotters last year, came off after just 29 minutes against the Latics and will miss Bolton's clash with Spurs on Saturday. "It's a hamstring injury that could have been a lot worse," said manager Gary Megson. "They call it a grade one and it's expected he will be out for seven to 10 days, that's at best. "We'll have to see, but he won't be available for out game with Spurs at the weekend and I don't think he'll be available for Sweden's games either." Elmander, who missed several games last season with calf and hamstring problems, has made four appearances so far this term, bagging his only goal in the Carling Cup against West Ham.
