Elmander frustrated at The Reebok

Trotters manager Gary Megson has preferred on-loan striker Ivan Klasnic for the last month and the Croatia international has responded with four goals in four games.[LNB]Club-record signing Elmander has made just two substitute appearances in those four games and was used to being a regular starter at previous clubs Toulouse and Brondby.[LNB]And although the Swedish striker, 28, insists he wants to play his part in the Trotters' survival bid, he is disappointed to be on the fringes right now.[LNB]"Klasnic has scored some goals so I understand if he (Megson) doesn't bench him, but I wish that I could start so that I could help the team," Elmander told Aftonbladet.[LNB]"It is a new experience to be benched. I might wake up one day and think how boring it is, but it hasn't happened yet."[LNB]Elmander is also eager to demonstrate his talents to new Sweden coach Erik Hamren, although asked what he would do if a new club shows interest in January, Elmander refused to comment.[LNB]"I want to take the chance and show what I am good for," he added.[LNB]"Even if Zlatan (Ibrahimovic) comes back, I want to have shown what I can do. There are some important friendlies this spring."[LNB][LNB][LNB] Burnley v Bolton Win to Nil: Bolton 9/2
