Elmander expects form improvement

The Sweden striker has enjoyed mixed fortunes with Wanderers since making an £8.2million switch from Toulouse last year. Five goals, by his own admission, has fallen short of the total expected but many observers remain confident that the 27-year-old striker's second season in English football will pay bigger dividends. Elmander is currently on international duty, preparing for World Cup qualifiers against Denmark and Malta. And despite the brickbats that have come his way since joining the Whites, he stands by his form over the last nine months in a Bolton shirt. "I am in good shape and things have been pretty good during the season even though I haven't scored that many goals," he told the Bolton News. "I read somewhere that my season has been "a fiasco". Anyone who says or writes that knows nothing about the way I play."
