Davis set to miss rest of season
Davis made only three starts after arriving from Fulham in the summer before suffering a knee injury.[LNB]Megson said: "Sean is going to be out for a long spell but whether it will be for the season only time will tell. It will be touch and go."[LNB]Israel midfielder Tamir Cohen could return against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday. He sat out the defeat by Blackburn because of a groin problem.[LNB]Ricardo Gardner has not trained all week but is expected to shrug off a calf strain and make the game.[LNB]Jlloyd Samuel took a knock in the derby as well but like Gardner should be in the frame to face Fulham.[LNB]Davis appears resigned to missing the rest of the campaign.[LNB]"I know I am not going to play again this season," he told the Bolton News.[LNB]"To have had an injury for this long, I would rather see it out and be 100% for pre-season.[LNB]"Hopefully, if everything goes right, I should be back in April but for me, I don't want to rush it."[LNB][LNB]
