Davies - Europe the aim

Striker Kevin Davies sees no reason why Bolton Wanderers cannot challenge for a Uefa Cup place next season.[LNB] Gary Megson's side started the campaign slowly, but have perked up since and now find themselves in midtable.[LNB]Davies believes that by consolidating their Premier League position this season they will be able to go one step further next time around.[LNB]Bolton's form has been particularly impressive at home of late and Davies feels all of their remaining Reebok clashes are winnable.[LNB]"This season we've only just pushed away from [the drop zone]," Davies told Sky Sports News.[LNB]Push on"With the squad we've got we always feel we can push on and we want to get into the top half of the table really. That's our first goal.[LNB]"I think we can try and secure a top ten finish this year. It gives us a bit more stability building on from last year and it's something we can try and build on next year.[LNB]"We want to try and start challenging for the European places really.[LNB]"The home games are the really important ones for us. We have six left and we feel we can win all of them. Hopefully that'll encourage us to go and pick some points away from home as well." [LNB]
