Captain Kevin Davies believes Bolton are well prepared for the new season ahead of their final two pre-season friendlies.[LNB] The Trotters face Spanish outfit Levante on Friday and York on Saturday, which will end an impressive summer which has taken in just one defeat.[LNB]Owen Coyle's men have been amongst the goals too, netting 17 goals in seven games so far, with their only setback a 1-0 defeat to Tampa Bay Rowdies.[LNB]The first-team regulars are expected to feature prominently on Friday and Davies is in optimistic mood ahead of their Premier League opener with Queens Park Rangers on August 13.[LNB]"Pre-season has gone pretty well," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"The squad is getting bigger and there have been some good additions. Everybody is getting fitter day by day and we have had some good tests in the games that we have played.[LNB]"Any season in the Premier League is going to be difficult so we have to make sure that we hit the ground running.[LNB]"We've been working extremely hard from day one of pre-season up until now and the wins obviously breed confidence.[LNB]"They have been enjoyable games in which we've played good stuff and scored plenty of goals. We've got one more game on Friday night and then we will be ready."[LNB]It has not all been plain sailing for manager Coyle, though, with South Korea international Lee Chung-yong suffering a broken leg against Newport County last Saturday.[LNB]Captain Davies sympathises with his team-mate and wished him a speedy recovery, which he has vowed to help ensure.[LNB]He said: "Chungy is a nice chap and he loves his football. We are all gutted for him. I went with him to the hospital when it happened and all the lads went to see him a day later.[LNB]"He seems a lot better now than he did a couple of days ago and I'm sure he will be happy to get home when he is able to do so.[LNB]"We will help him through it like we should do."
