Coyle would welcome goal-line technology
The sport's rule-makers shut the door on the innovation indefinitely this weekend when the International Football Association Board meeting in Zurich voted against continuing any further experiments with goalline technology.[LNB]The English and Scottish Football Associations had voted in favour of technology only to be defeated by six votes to two, and Coyle has added his support for the idea, although the manager stressed there could be no margin for error with any new system which was introduced.[LNB]"The one thing I have always said is that I accept there is a lot of tinkering which goes on," Coyle said.[LNB]"Ultimately you don't want to change too much about the game, because it is the best game in the world.[LNB]"But I do believe with goal-line technology that, if there is a system in place that is foolproof, then that should be brought in.[LNB]"It's such a big (thing).
